The short answer
Moth control targets the clothes, carpet and pantry moth larvae that damage fabrics and stored food. We cover all of Sydney 24/7. Each visit covers clothes and carpet moth checks, pantry source inspection and source-led treatment. Call 0494 527 527 or request a free quote online to book.
Check the warning signs
Identify it first
Clothes moths and pantry moths need different plans. Clothes moth larvae feed on vulnerable natural fibres; pantry moth larvae develop in stored dry foods. Spraying every cupboard is not the answer.
In Sydney houses and apartments, forgotten garments, rugs beneath furniture and opened pantry packets can keep the cycle going. We inspect the source and explain what to clean, isolate or discard.

Know the problem
We identify the pest, find where it is living and choose the treatment that suits your property.
Wardrobes, wool rugs and undisturbed fabric storage are checked for larvae, cases and webbing.
Flour, cereal, nuts, pet food and cupboard cracks are checked for contaminated material.
Infested food is removed and suitable treatment is targeted to appropriate cracks or harbourages, not sprayed onto food.
Species-appropriate monitoring and sealed storage help track activity and protect clean items.
Our process
We do not just spray and leave. We find the source, treat it properly and help stop it coming back.

Clothing damage and pantry activity point to different moths.

We inspect affected items and the hidden breeding source.

Cleaning, suitable treatment and storage changes work together.
Straight answers
Pantry moth larvae feed in stored dry food. Clothes moth larvae feed on susceptible natural fibres. Identification decides which items need checking.
Eggs and larvae may remain in food, fabric or sheltered cracks. Removing the breeding source matters more than only killing flying adults.
Discard infested packets in sealed waste and inspect nearby dry foods, including pet food. Do not apply insecticide directly to food or food-contact surfaces.
Species-specific traps can help monitor adult activity, but they do not remove larvae already feeding in fabrics or stored foods.
For additional identification or safety guidance, see these Australian resources. Your treatment plan is based on an inspection of your property.
